Melissa is a highly self-motivated professional with a passion for people and diversity. With experience in diverse fields including HR, marketing and GDPR, she is also a tireless autistic self-advocate, having contributed a number of articles and blog posts to autistic collectives in Ireland such as AsIAm and AutLoud. She has been a guest speaker at several diversity events, including a recurring guest lecture spot at teacher training seminars in Dublin City University (DCU). As communications lead on Vodafone Ireland’s DiverseABILITY Network, she executed several effective educational campaigns around allyship, neurodiversity in the workplace and why hiring a diverse workforce with rich perspectives is not only the right thing to do, but also makes good business sense.
